Crossroads Abstract is an agent for five major national underwriters. All these companies have excellent reputations in the title field, with different strengths for each underwriter. We feel that having multiple underwriters allows us to be more flexible in our title clearance process. It also allows us to reissue from more old policies, done by other agents. This means more book keeping and forms for us, but a smoother closing process for our clients.

Our underwriters are listed below in alphabetical order (with links to their web sites, in case you would like to find out more about them). Please note that Commonwealth and Lawyers are separate entities, but are both owned by LandAmerica and share some operations.
